Let’s not be shy about calling the European Commission what it is. The European Commission is a dictatorship. If it’s not a dictatorship, what is it, and what is it for?
Ironic really when you consider that the nutjobs who conceived of the European Union dreamt of a utopian European continent. The unsurprising result is dystopia.
One hell of a lot of people knew it would end up like this, but were dismissed all along as fruitcakes … and are still being dismissed as such today (Farage comes to mind). The worrying thing is that so many British politicians – including many (most?) of our coalition government – still think that the European Union is the epitome of wonderfulness.
Most days at the moment, watching the euro (and one can only hope the EU) unravel, whilst listening to the politicians and bureaucrats spouting ever more fantastic propaganda, I think I’m going mad.
Isn’t the promulgation of ever more fantastic propaganda the hallmark of a collapsing dictatorship?
